REPORT OF 2ND WORLD ROP CONGRESS
Dear Friend and Colleagues,
On behalf of the organizing committee, we thank you for attending the World ROP Congress, an international conference on retinopathy of prematurity held on 21-23 November 2009 at Hotel Le Meridien in New Delhi, India.
The World ROP Congress was attended by over 250 delegates from across the world and featured a comprehensive overview of all aspects of ROP ranging from current concepts to aetiology, screening, research and management practices. With top experts in ROP featured on the scientific program, and a huge line up of over 90 scientific posters, the Congress was an academic feast for one and all. The abstract book comprised a collection of all abstracts submitted to the Congress and will serve as a valuable resource.
On behalf of the organizing committee, we take this opportunity to thank all speakers, participants and trade for the overwhelming support given to organize the program. We thank The Bernadotte Foundation For Children's Eyecare, Inc. for graciously providing $5000 travel grants for international delegates and $5000 travel grants for Indian delegates.

Update: Third World ROP Congress will be hosted in Shanghai, China from 6-8 July 2012.
