On behalf of the organizing committee, we cordially invite you to attend the World ROP Congress, an international conference on retinopathy of prematurity to be held on 21, 22, 23 November 2009 in New Delhi, India .

The theme of the conference is No-ROP: Partnership, Prevention and Planning.

In light of the 3rd epidemic of blindness due to ROP which is currently taking place in middle income countries and in the emerging economies of Asia, the purpose of this 2nd international congress is to provide a forum for ophthalmologists, neonatologists and neonatal nurses to share knowledge and experiences about ROP.

The World ROP Congress will feature a comprehensive overview of all aspects of ROP ranging from current concepts to aetiology, screening, research and management practices. Everyone will have an opportunity to participate via free papers and poster presentations.

The conference will be hosted at Le Meridien Hotel in New Delhi, the capital of India. New Delhi is well known for its rich culture and heritage and offers a diverse range of tourism opportunities in and around the city.

You can also continue your academic feast and participate in the Annual Conference of Vitreoretinal Society of India to be held on 25th-28th November, 2009 at Palampur, Himachal Pradesh.
